This is a list that will be updated monthly, perhaps yearly, I’m undecided as of yet. This isn’t an official ‘contest’ or anything, it’s just blogs that I like and help me find the books that are best attuned to me. These bloggers won’t know that I’m making this post, it’s all a surprise!
Blogger #1: Confessions of a YA Reader
Recently nominated for a blogger award, that does not at all affect this list of being in the top five. Confessions has regularly posted about books that I love, books I’ve never heard about but fallen in love with, and some books that I am most interested in reading simply because they have posted them. With creative book photos, and almost constant new content, I’m very much in love with this blogger!
Blogger #2: Beware of the Reader
This was a recent blogger find that somehow popped up into my feed, and I really adore most of their posts. While they’re more into romance than I am, they definitely step up the game in their content and postings about books. Beware of the Reader also has a cool header and banner that I love, as well as a catchphrase: beware of the reader for she has lived a thousand lives!
Blogger #3: The Quill to Live
This is where I find a good chunk of my favorite fantasy books! With numerous reviewers on this blog, I can’t relatively pin down who exactly runs it, but it’s one of my absolute favorites to frequently check up on, due to the sheer amount of books that are reviewed here! It’s a recent find, which means plenty of posts that I still haven’t read through yet!
Blogger #4: Meltotheany
While the blog title is a bit of a mouthful, this blogger has excellent taste in books and games! Too be honest, I mostly pay attention to the books as I rarely do games (The Sims and Skyrim are my go to games). With a lovely blog full of interesting content, I’m sure you’ll find loads of cool stuff here!
And finally, drumroll please!
Blogger #5: Bookwraiths
Another blogger that’s primarily fantasy books, but there’s also the occasional comic book/graphic novel thrown in too! This blogger constantly surprises me with lists of top ten favorites, classic fantasy novels I’ve either never heard about or already know about and love to death, and is just generally a fun place to browse around and check out what books have been posted!
And that’s it! That’s my current top five bloggers to browse through and read for book recommendations! This doesn’t count towards the YouTube Book Bloggers, however, which may or may not get it’s own post before too long if people are interested in such.
Know someone I should follow? Just let me know in the comments, and I’ll check them out-of the library! Terrible pun, I know. Sigh.
Until next time,
-Pass Me That Book.
