Weekly Wrap Up #2

Welcome to my second weekly wrap up, where I discuss the finished books that I’ve read the past week! There aren’t as many as the first weekly wrap up, sadly, because I’ve been working on my own stories and hoping to finish mine soon enough to get published. It’s still in the first few drafts mode, and it’s going well. Fingers crossed that I can finish it by the time summer rolls around, and spring is officially over.

Other news: I’m getting more and more arcs in the mail, so keep an eye out for my ‘Complete List of ARCs’ that I’m going to post here soon. It’s going to be a large list of books that I have received and still need to review, and it might even add a few books onto your own TBR pile!

Books Read This Past Week:

1.Long May She Reign by Rhiannon Thomas 5/5 stars! {review to come}
2.The Door Through Space by Marion Zimmer Bradley 2/5 stars (no review)
3.Primals by Lexy Timms 4/5 stars (no review)
4.Kingdom of Ruin by Bianca McKay 5/5 stars {review to come}
5.Forbidden by __ 2/5 stars (no review/DNF)
6.Ride On by Gwen Cole 2.5/5 stars {review to come}
7.Witchstruck by __ 2/5 stars {review to come/DNF}
8.Caine’s Reckoning by __ 3/5 stars (no review)
9.The Tory by __ 2/5 stars {review to come/DNF}

Only 9 books read this past week, and to be fair two of which I finished yesterday on Monday. I was late in posting because this was the first I could get online in the past few days. A lot of traveling has been happening at home, and I’ve also been working on more of my writing. I sent in queries to agents and publishers, and am now just playing the waiting game.

Books I Want to Read This Week:

Yes, I plan on being quite the ambitious reader this week. I hope to read a book a day, and have two hours for writing before I go to bed. Perhaps this plan will work out, and I can maybe finish writing yet another book that I’m already halfway through writing.

In the meantime, I have books calling my name, and reviews to post, and more queries to send.

This week is going to be a busy one, it seems.

Until next time,

-Pass Me That Book
