Book Review (2016): The School for Unusual Girls by Kathleen Baldwin

This book swept me away, it easily made my top ten books of the year. Considering I only got it yesterday and spent all the way to two in the morning reading, and gave up for sleep, then read the last five chapters later today, that should tell you just how much I adore this book.

Let me tell you some things as to why:

Strong female characters, girls creating Invisible Ink, Girls jumping out of windows trying out new flying inventions, set during the time of Napoleon, Romance, Intrigue, War!, lots of action, cool bad guys!, unexpected plot twist, skeletons!!, spies!, and more!

If that doesn’t help, the cover has a review by Author Megan Cabot (love her stuff!), and it’s also part of a series. Book One, in fact.

So what are you waiting for?! Go, get it now!

Additional Notes: This was a library book, not a review copy. And another series that I haven’t finished, of course!

I am a book blogger, where I talk about my favorite reads, new books I've found, or anything related to reading. I am currently accepting ARCs in the genres: Science Fiction, YA, Fantasy, Romance, Historical, and Mystery. I am open for anything, though religious based books are generally not something that I would read, unless a friend/someone I know asks me to. Feel free to email me for questions!
